3rd Annual Animal Welfare Forum |
Working Together For Animal Welfare From Farm to Fork
Thursday, August 12, 2010, 9:00am - 4:30pm
This year’s forum, entitled “Working Together for Animal Welfare from Farm to
Fork,” will feature keynote speaker Dr. Temple Grandin, nationally-known animal
welfare expert from Colorado State University. The forum will focus on how
veterinarians and producers work together for humane treatment of animals at
every stage of life from farm to fork and will examine some of the issues each
industry faces when tackling animal welfare. The day will conclude with an
optional tour for veterinarians and veterinary students of nearby modern
agricultural facilities.
