3rd Annual Animal Welfare Forum

Working Together For Animal Welfare From Farm to Fork

Thursday, August 12, 2010, 9:00am - 4:30pm

This year’s forum, entitled “Working Together for Animal Welfare from Farm to Fork,” will feature keynote speaker Dr. Temple Grandin, nationally-known animal welfare expert from Colorado State University. The forum will focus on how veterinarians and producers work together for humane treatment of animals at every stage of life from farm to fork and will examine some of the issues each industry faces when tackling animal welfare. The day will conclude with an optional tour for veterinarians and veterinary students of nearby modern agricultural facilities.

You may register for the animal welfare forum when you register for KVC. Questions or problems? Contact Christine Britton at cbritton@pavma.org.
